Refund and Returns Policy

Customers have up to 7 Days after the purchase to return an appliance, phone, computer, laptop, other electronics, solar products or cookware and get a refund or replacement under any of the following terms and conditions;-

  1. If the product delivered was wrong (different from what you ordered).
  2. Or the product delivered was damaged or defective.
  3. Or the product delivered was counterfeit/fake. 

Consumables (LPG gas, detergents, etc.) cannot be returned but can be replaced under similar terms and conditions as the other products if the issue is raised within 15 days from purchase.

The item for return must be unused and in the original manufacturer’s packaging unless the reason for return warranted unpacking and using the product first. Be sure to include manuals, warranty cards, tags, and any other accessories that were delivered with the product.

Return Instructions

Also, include pictures of the product that was delivered to [email protected] as a means of evidence.

STEP 2:

Return after Authorization

Once your claim is validated, we will provide information on the most suitable means of getting the item from you.

STEP 3:

Track Return Status

We will send you a return waybill number, this will enable you to track the status of your return.

STEP 4:

Get Resolution

Upon our confirmation of the receipt of the item, the item will be inspected to ensure the return reason is valid. 

Items not eligible for Returns

  • Products that have been altered from their original or opened by authorized personnel without permission.
  • Product with tampered or missing serial Universal Product Code numbers (UPC).
  • Perishable goods cannot be returned except a valid reason is raised at the point of delivery with affirmation from the dispatcher.
  • Products damaged due to misuse.
  • Products in beauty, health and personal care category.
  • Jewellery, innerwear, bed sheets, lingerie and socks.
  • Books and CDs

Change of Mind 

In case you change your mind after a purchase you are free to return the item within 30 days from the date of purchase for an 80% credit note (shopping voucher) if unused and a 70% credit note (shopping voucher) if the product has been unpacked and used. The credit note amount can be used to make another purchase or pay for a service on Bayet.ug.

Bayet.ug reserves the right to accept or reject a change of mind return request.

Warranty

In case a product you purchased breaks down during the warranty period or is found to have a defect, the product warranty will apply and the product will be fixed or replaced, depending on the manufacturer’s service centre determination.

Cancellations

Customers are allowed to cancel their orders before the items in the order are dispatched. Cancellation of orders is free for both prepaid and postpaid orders. You can request order cancellation from the orders page of your account/dashboard. 

Refunds for cancelled orders are processed within 2-7 working days from the time of cancellation. The refund applies to prepaid orders only.
